Hi, welcome to my page. I look forward to connecting with you and helping your body find deeper relaxation and balance.
Over the last thirty years, I have studied different bodywork techniques that are all part of my practice. These include Swedish massage, Aromatherapy, Reflexology, Slavic and holistic bodywork techniques.
My work allows me to travel regularly, and in 2019 I had the luxury of learning Lomi Lomi on the island of Maui in Hawaii. I was captivated by the dance of the massage, the history, the deeply holistic nature of the practice, and knew it would bring more depth to my treatments.
The big news is that I have now completed my studies with Jing. I am now the proud owner of an A.C.M.T. certificate. This stands for Advanced Clinical Massage Training, which helps me deal directly with specific chronic pain issues. Recently I have also qualified in Hot Stones, a delicious soothing addition to my massage techniques.
In my treatments, I use a fusion of all my skills to tailor the best personal treatment to suit each individual need. No two massages are the same!
My intension here, is to create a peaceful space where you and your body will be heard.

Massage techniques
Lomi Lomi
Lomi Lomi originates from Hawaii. It is a sacred practice, that integrates deep healing on all levels. Lomi works to the level of the bones, stretching ligaments and attachments, making space in the joints to create fluidity in the body. Every part of the skeleton has wisdom, every part has a line of enquiry. Hawaiians believe that bones carry the genetic content of who we are at a soul level. Lomi incorporates rhythmic, dance-like movements using forearms, palms, fingers, elbows and stones to help the body realign on all levels; physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually.
Jing Method, A.C.M.T
(Advanced Clinical Massage Therapy)
The Jing method is in itself a fusion of East meets West. In the East we have acupressure points, knowledge of meridians and Thai Stretching. In the West we have trigger points, myofascial release and deep tissue massage. The combination of these techniques provide deep relaxation, and are clinically effective at relieving chronic pain issues.
This method is for treating :
Back pain: including sciatica and ongoing pain from herniated disc.
Chronic neck and shoulder pain, including whiplash associated disorder.
Repetitive Strain and Carpel Tunnel syndrome.
Tennis and Golfers Elbow.
Shoulder Girdle problems: frozen shoulder or generalised shoulder pain and restricted range of motion
Sporting overuse injuries including Achilles tendinitis and knee complaints.
Ongoing pain from old injuries that have not been resolved after months or years
Arthritis:both rheumatoid and osteoporosis
Headaches and Migraines
Fibromyalgia, irritable bowel syndrome and chronic fatigue
Mysterious pain that is persistent and debilitating but has no diagnosis despite extensive medical tests.
If you have chronic pain, I will suggest weekly treatments. When you first come to me, an initial consultation will include a thorough range of motion test. I can see which parts of the body are affected and which corresponding techniques will be most effective. We will continue to reassess your progress and, I will provide simple exercises you can do at home. After six weeks, we can reflect on how the condition has improved and then how to move forward from this.
Hot Stones
Hot stones are just delicious. Heated gently in a water bath, they can then be used to massage the body, encouraging deep relaxation in the fascia and muscles. Heat is a natural analgesic, offering wonderful pain relief, making it ideal for those chronic pain conditions. Hot stones soothe, comfort and ease the whole body.
Massage Waxes
With my aromatherapy training, I create beautiful, handmade massage wax. Every week there are new and gorgeous blends to try such as Jasmine and Vetiver, or Rosemary, Mandarine and Cypress.
The base is mango butter, camellia oil and bees wax
Vegan Wax is available for anyone following a plant based lifestyle.
